A New Beginning

The semester is finally almost over. Only 3 more weeks of school. It is about that time in the semester where everything is extremely stressful. You have tests, quizzes, essays all due within a day of each other. It is definitely a bit overwhelming. I am extremely lucky to be married to the most supportive and loving man in the world. Nathan keeps me positive. When I am too stressed he has me take a step back. That usually involves switching gears to play a nice friendly (and overly competitive) game of uno or sorry or watch a short TV show. He always knows exactly how to make me feel better.
I got married on April 11th this year. It was the most amazing day of my life. Walking out of the temple knowing that I was married to Nathan made me float on cloud nine. We took tons and tons of pictures making us a bit late (like an hour) to our luncheon. The luncheon turned out just how I imagined it! We had Chinese food from Fortune Garden (because both Nathan and I lived in China for a while). Then we watched an adorable photo video and Nate and me and had toasts. It turned out perfect! After the luncheon we rushed home to hurry and pack for the honeymoon as well as pack for moving to Idaho. As soon as we finished packing, we hurried over to the church for the reception. We talked to people almost the entire time. So many people showed up! It was really special. Then before we knew it we were on the road. No one tells you that there is no time to eat at the reception (which is totally fine!). We were starving so we stopped at McDonalds on the way to San Fransisco.
The honeymoon was perfect! We went to Hawaii. Our hotel was right across from the beach so we could go hang on the beach any time we wanted. We went to some really delicious places for our dinners. We also got to go to the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was amazing! When we got there it was pouring down rain but within five minutes the sky was perfectly clear. I got picked to dance up on stage which was super fun. The Ha show was super amazing! After we got back from Hawaii we had an open house in Torrance then hurried up to Idaho to start the semester.
I am so happy! I can't wait for my summer break to begin! I just love new beginnings!
